ANNOUNCEMENTS
· Trimester 2 Report Cards were mailed on Friday, March 5th. If you have not received your copy by March 11th, please feel free to stop in the main office during Parent-Teacher Conferences Friday, March 12th to request an additional copy.
· Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Friday, March 12th. This a non-attendance day for all MRA scholars. All students received a Parent-Teacher Conference Form last Friday to bring home and have completed by their parents/guardians in order to reserve a time slot to meet with core subject teachers. An additional copy of this form was sent home with report cards. If you have not yet received a copy, please head over to the For Parents page to print out a copy and have your student return to the main office by Wednesday, March 10th.
· S.O.A.R. Academy will not be in session on Saturday, March 13th. Saturday Academy will resume on March 20th for all students on its normal 8:45am to 12:00 noon schedule. If your student has been referred for the Saturday program, it is essential that they attend in order to maximize the results of the program. Spots are still available if you are interested in enrolling your student for additional Math and Reading support.
· Winter Building Reminder: Snow is melting and temperatures are rising! While we celebrate spring, this is a reminder to all parents that students will no longer be admitted into the building before 7:55a.m. The building has been open for students during the winter months due to sub-zero temperatures, but will no longer be an option for students who arrive early in the morning. All students are expected to wait outside until the doors officially open at 7:55a.m. During this time, we ask that you reinforce with your student the appropriate behavior necessary to show our surrounding neighbors, community and businesses respect. We appreciate your cooperation.
· Photographs from their year’s Living History Museum can be viewed by clicking on the LHM 2010 link under the For Students tab. MRA students did an exceptional job this year with our theme Literature & Music Through the Decades. We appreciate all the family members and friends that were able to make it out on Thursday, February 25th to share in their scholars’ success!
